Decription

Close to the city of Nador, the government of Morocco is developing a new industrial platform, including a multi-purpose deep-water port in the eastern region of the Mediterranean coast.

The new port comprises a main breakwater and a secondary breakwater of 4,233 m and 1,187 m respectively, two container terminals with a quay wall length of 1,520 m and 1,440 m and a depth of 18 m, three oil berths, a specialised bulk cargo berth, a Ro-Ro berth and a service quay.
